Privacy Policy

Regarding the protection of all personal information we handle as a financial information service vendor, our company fully recognizes our social responsibility, and we comply with the laws and regulations with regards to protecting the rights of the individual and their personal information. In addition, in order to realize the policy shown below, we have built a personal information protection management system and promote personal information protection.

  1. We will collect, use and provide personal information by clarifying the purpose of use within the necessary scope of our business, such as our financial information service business, and with the hiring of employees and personnel management. In addition, we will not use personal information beyond the purpose of use (other than the intended purpose) without obtaining prior consent from the person. And we will take measures to make this happen.
  2. Our company complies with the laws, regulations, national guidelines and other standards with regards to the handling of personal information.
  3. For risks such as the leaking, loss or damage of personal information, together with taking preventive measures, we will take immediate corrective action in the unlikely event that a problem occurs.
  4. For complaints and consultations regarding the handling of personal information, we have set up a point of contact for complaint consultation, and will respond promptly and appropriately.
  5. We will continue to promote improvements in the personal information protection management system in light of changes in the environment surrounding our company.

About the Handling of Personal Information

  1. The purpose of use for personal information 
    The company shall acquire and use the following items of personal information within the scope of the purpose of use.

    (1) Personal information obtained directly in writing from the person (including such things as websites and e-mails) will be used only for the following purposes. In addition, when acquiring personal information for uses other than the following, or when there is a change in how it is used, we will separately ask for consent to the usage after clearly indicating the intended use.

    ・Personal information with regards to individual customers using our services

    <5>In order to provide such things as products, services and seminars

    ・Personal information with regards to our business partners

    (2)Personal information kept in relation to business contracting 
    In order to carry out the business that we have been contracted to do, we may take personal information from the place that outsourced it. In such a case, based on the contract with the place that outsourced it, we will handle the information appropriately and will not use it for any purpose other than performing the work we have been contracted to do.

  2. Provision of personal information to a third party and shared use 
    When providing personal information to a third party, or jointly using it, the company shall identify the recipient and the details provided, and shall obtain the prior consent of the person.

    However, this does not apply in the following cases.  
    ・When predicated by law 
    ・When it is necessary for the protection of life, body or property and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the person  
    ・When it is particularly necessary to improve public health or promote the sound rearing of children and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the person 
    ・When a national institution or local public agency or a person so entrusted needs cooperation in carrying out their duties as stipulated by law, and there is the risk of obstructing the performance of their duties by obtaining the consent of the person

  3. Outsourcing personal information 
    In order to carry out business, we may outsource personal information to external companies. In such cases, we only select companies that can handle information at the level set by our company and based on our rules. We sign a confidentiality agreement with them, do periodic checking, and conduct appropriate management and supervision of the contractor.

  4. Personal information that is subject to disclosure 
    For personal information that is subject to disclosure that is directly acquired and held by our company, and with regards to requests from a person or their agent about the purpose of use notification, disclosure, correction of the details, addition or elimination, suspension of use, deletion, or the suspension of provision to third parties (hereinafter referred to as “requests for disclosure, etc.”), we will respond as follows.

    In principle, personal information acquired and held directly by the company is subject to disclosure. Regarding personal information that has been outsourced to us by our business partners, please contact the outsourcing company.

    (4) Regarding the procedures for disclosure, etc.

    1) Where to make requests for disclosure, etc.
    For requests for disclosure, etc., please make inquiries to the following point of contact for personal information.

    2) Procedures with regards to requests for disclosure, etc. 
    <1> After receiving your request, we will mail you the prescribed request form to use.  
    <2> If the request form that has been filled out is a request from an agent, please mail documents confirming that they are the agent, and the postal money order for the fee, to the following point of contact for inquiries about personal information (the fee is only for when there is a purpose of use notification and requests for disclosure).  
    <3> After receiving the above request form, in order to verify your identity, from the personal information that is registered with our company, we will contact you about two information items that can verify you (for example, phone number and date of birth, etc.)  
    <4> In principle, responses will be sent to the person in writing (sealed mail).

    3) If the request is made by an agent, documents confirming that they are the agent 
    If the person seeking disclosure, etc., is an agent, please enclose documents certifying that they are the agent and documents verifying the agent themselves. For the domicile of origin included in documents, it should include the prefecture, but please black out the other information.  
    In addition, please send each document without personal identification numbers, or black out all digits.
